Hosting, Design, Domain...What?
What does all this mean?

There are several basic components to any website:

First there is the domain name. This is the name by which all humans will find you on the web - such as "google.com", or "2bdesign.us". These are both domain names. For you to have your own website, you too need a domain name. You can select one here (it will help you determine if your idea for a name is already chosen). Domain name registration costs money each year to register the name, but this is included in our $29/month fee.

You also need a website design. This is a collection of specially constructed computer files, programming code, images and other documents. This is our core business. We have a large selection of designs that are already designed - which makes up our ready web template product. These designs in our ready web template portfolio are free if you use our hosting service, though there is a $399 (one time setup) fee to put your own text and images into the design. Each ready web templates set up fee includes 10 website pages and 20 of your images. (If you do not have images, we have a large bank of images that we can use for your website - free of charge.) We do this work for you!

Next, you need website hosting. The web design that we have created for you needs to reside on a computer that is connected to the World Wide Web so that other people can see it when they browse the web. Essentially, this is renting space and bandwidth on a computer out there on the web.

You also may need email addresses.You probably already have an email address from google (gmail), yahoo or AOL. However, for many people, email addresses that are specific to their own domain (e.g. darryl@2bdesign.us, or hank@pizzasAreUs.com) are important to creating and maintaining a professional image. Ten (10) email addresses are included in our $29/month fee. We create these and manage them for you.
