Are there any extra costs?

Not usually, but...

A typical readyWeb site will have no extra costs, just $399 setup and $29/month.  There are a couple of ways to incur extra costs:

In the setup process (one time):

  • 10 pages are included in the original setup cost. ADDITIONAL pages are $50 per page.
  • 20 images are included in the original setup cost ($399 one-time setup fee). ADDITIONAL images are $5 per image/$15 per for purchased or non-digital images.
  • If you purchase a readyWeb template, but it needs some tweaking (e.g. an extra page or one fewer pages) - we can do that.  We charge an hourly rate of $50/hour with a 1/2 hour minimum. We are quite fast and can accomplish most tasks like this in a couple of hours.  .
  • If you need to update your data in the future - no problem. We charge an hourly rate of $50/hour with a 1/2 hour minimum. We are very adept at this and most changes take 1/2 hour or less, so the typical charge is $25.

In the recurring monthly fees (each month):

How do I pay?

PayPal is a safe and secure way to pay online.

We do not keep any credit card or other financial information. In fact, we never see it. The payment (and recurring monthly subscription payment) is handled by PayPal.

What is your hourly rate?

We will make any changes or updates to your website for $50/hour or $25 for 1/2 hour (with a 1/2 hour minimum). Our software development rates are the same.

What is important to look for in a web design?

Look And Feel

Your selection should be based on look and feel and, to a lesser extent, functionality. From our home page we allow you to filter our designs based on these attributes. We have also added a category selection, though this is more to give you an example of applicability since we can take a Construction website and make it work for a different business if you like the layout, the look and the feel.

What can be changed in readyWeb templates?

Everything!

We can change anything! It is common to tweak a website to meet a client's needs. We can rearrange pages, add or subtract them. Or if an additional function such as a slideshow or a PayPal link is needed - we can do that. These are relatively simple and relatively inexpensive. Changing large parts of the website (such as the basic color scheme) is more work and may incur more cost.

How do I select a web design?

Match the "Look and Feel" with the image you want to project.

The most important criteria is look and feel.  Ask yourself, "What image do I want my website to project?".  Often people will select favorite colors or other personal tastes that might not be right for their website image.  If you are a banker, you want an "Institutional" feel - projecting solidity, longevity, trustworthiness, conservatism.  Try to match these traits with our designs to come up with some selections.

Less important is the Attributes and Functions of the site.  This includes attributes of the site such as (including) a gallery of images - which might be very appropriate if you are a photographer or even perhaps a construction company with pictures of completed projects.  It will be less expensive (i.e. no extra cost) to select a design that already has a portfolio, but we can easily add one to most any design.  This modification costs money, typically another $50 to $100, but is still well below the cost of a custom designed site.  Thus, you can peruse these attributes if they seem relevant, but you don't need to make this feature a requirement.

The "Category" filter on the design page shows examples. These are just examples and we can easily adapt designs to your specific content/business.  So, don't use this as basic searching criteria.

Are there duplicate readyWeb templates on the web?

Yes, but...

These website designs are reused by other clients, and therefore there can be duplicates of the same web design layout online. However, your content (photos and text) will contribute strongly to its uniqueness. Also, the web is a very, very, big place.

What are the main reasons to choose a readyWeb template?

Professional, Flexible, Fast, and Affordable.

The main reasons people turn to our readyWeb solution are: Professional, Flexible, Fast, and Affordable. Let's get more in depth.:

  1. Our designs are professional. These are not "quick and dirty" designs that you need to settle for; instead they are quick and slick. They compete with the best there is to offer on the web. See for yourself.
  2. Our firm is flexible. We can tweak our template designs to meet your requirements.
  3. We are fast. readyWeb sites usually take 3 to 5 business days to complete once we have received all the content from the client.
  4. readyWeb sites are affordable. $29 per month, and only $399 to put your content on the website.

If you are an institution, business owner or artist - and you need a web presence, readyWeb is a good answer.

What is a readyWeb site?

A website design that is ready to use - right now!

  • Professional: Choose from a gallery of elegant, professional, functional designs. Check the designs out here...
  • Flexible: Customization of existing designs is affordable and friendly.
  • Fast: readyWeb sites are ready to go.
  • Affordable: Low up front cost: $399 startup and just $29/month.
  • Easy: We help you set up your website every step of the way.

A readyWeb site is a web design that has already been created. We have a large gallery of designs to choose from. These designs can be modified by us for an hourly fee, but most of our clients are able to use them as is. The client provides their own content and images and we put them on the site for a $399 fee. We are working on a "ClientAdmin" section that will allow you to upload content yourself and make changes in the future.

For many clients, a readyWeb site is a great answer because the designs are elegant, rich and professional - while the upfront cost is minimal (a flat fee of $399), and the monthly subscription is affordable ($29/month).

Ready to move forward? Next step is to select a design from our gallery...

Can you create custom software?

We do it all...

Our firm focuses on finding the simplest, most cost effective solutions. Often this means applying existing applications to your unique problems. However, if it means generating a new, custom software application, we offer many solutions:

  • business solutions - customer records, inventory, automated processes
  • systems integration - moving data from one system to another
  • simple to complex database design and implementation
  • web based interfaces and applications
  • performance-critical, real-time, and scientific computing & analysis

What is Data Processing?

One of the most common problems today is data analysis and processing. Here are the common problems we have seen and solved in this area:

  • data translation/processing - modify the data using simple or complex algorithms to produce new data sets.
  • application integration - this can be a one-time translation of data from one application to another or a regularly occurring automated process to move the data between applications.
  • data replication - replicate data for safety or performance reasons.
  • data dissemination - sending data out to vendors, partners, or clients.

What kinds of Data Storage do you do?

Data storage and access is a constant challenge.

  • business data - customer records, inventory, automated storage
  • scientific data - simple storage and easy access to large data sets
  • financial data - storing and accessing the imperfect data from the financial markets

What is High Performance Computing?

There are several domains that require high performance solutions.

  • scientific computing - processing large data sets such as seismic data
  • real time processing - processing data in a time sensitive way such as providing feedback during the financial markets
  • expert systems - decision based systems applied to specific domains

What is your hourly rate?

$50/hour, broken down by the 1/2 hour.

We will make any changes or updates to your website for $50/hour or $25 for 1/2 hour (with a 1/2 hour minimum). Our software development rates are the same.
